Today I am going to show you how to make tasty Sookhe Aloo recipe. This is so good in taste and easy to cook recipe and you can definitely try this at home.

So, Let's start and cook healthy.

Ingredients:

Potatoes - 1/2 kg           Jakhiya(Wild mustard) - 1 tea spoon        Mustard Oil - 2 table spoon

Red chilies - 2               Garlic cloves - 7 to 8                                 Ginger - 2 table spoon

Green Chilies - 3 to 4   Dry coriander seeds - 2 table spoon

Spices -

Salt - 1 tea spoon, Kitchen King - 1 Table Spoon, Coriander Powder - 1 tea spoon, Turmeric Powder - 1 tea spoon, Red Chili Powder - 1 tea spoon, Kasoori Methi - 1 table spoon

Recipe: 

First of all wash the potatoes thoroughly and peel all of them. After peeling the potatoes we have to cut them in medium pieces. Meanwhile grind garlic, ginger, green chilies and coriander seeds. Make sure not to grind them in the mixer but roughly grind them manually.

Now put the pan in the gas and let it heat for 3-4 minutes. Add mustard oil and heat it for another two minutes. Now put jakhiya for tadka in the oil and fry for 2 minutes. Now instantly put the mixture which we have grinded and fry it until it has brown texture. Now time to put the potatoes and Stir nicely for 2-3 minutes.This is the time to put the spices in the pan now. Mix the spices well in the potatoes and now we will cover it with the lid and let it cook for 15-20 minutes. Try after 15 minutes if the potatoes are cooked if not, stir them again and let them cook for another 5-10 minutes.

You should sprinkle a pinch of salt now so that the tomatoes are cook easily and quickly. Now once you can see the oil coming out from the sides. It is the time to put the spices in the pan. Stir them well and cover the lid and cook for 5 minutes. Now We will be putting the fali pieces in the pan.

Now is the time to sprinkle the kasoori methi in the pan and mix well with the potatoes. Your dish is ready but before that you have to cover the lid again for 5 minutes so that the flavor will be all around the potatoes. 

Your sookhe aloo recipe is ready to take out from the pan and ready to be served. Garnish it with green coriander leaves and enjoy this tasty meal.
