MOONG DAL CHILLA

Today I am going to share with you a very easy, healthy and tasty Moong Dal Chilla recipe. It's a protein packed breakfast option for you which is easy to cook and full of taste.

So let's start and cook healthy.

Ingredients:

1. Moong Dal Raw  - 150-200 grams

2. Onion - 2 medium size

3. Green Chilli - 4-5

4. Ghee - Just to spread on the pan

5. Garlic Cloves - 5-10

6. Crushed Ginger - 1 table spoon

7. Spices -  1 tea spoon salt, 1 tea spoon red chilli

Recipe:

Soak moong dal overnight and in the morning drain all the water from it and let it dry for half an hour atleast.

Meanwhile crush onions, garlic and ginger. Now our moong dal is ready to go to the mixer jar. Make a paste of the moong dal and make sure it's not too thick as we are going to mix everything else in it too. Now in a mixing bowl. Put all the onions, garlic, ginger and moong dal paste with a tea spoon of salt. Cut the green chillies too and mix with the paste.

Put the pan into the stove in medium flame and let it heat for 5 minutes. Now time to put the paste with the help of a spoon and give it the shape you like. Round shape, triangular or whatever you want. Cook it for 3-4 minutes and check with the spatula if if the Chilla is not sticky in the pan and flip it to the other side to cook. Same again. Cook it for 3-4 minutes and BANG your super healthy Chilla is ready to be served.

You can enjoy the Chilla with any kind of sauce you like.
