HEALTHY POHA

Today I am going to show you how to make tasty and healthy Poha recipe. I have tried to keep this recipe simple and short. It is low in calorie and will be a great option for who do workout and seeking option to eat something which is low in calorie yet tasty and healthy.

So, Let's start and cook healthy.

Ingredients:

Poha - 100 grams           Onion - 2 cups        Ghee - 1 table spoon    Peanuts - 30 grams

Green Chili crushed - 2 table spoon

Spices -

Salt - 1 tea spoon, Kitchen King Masala - 1 Table Spoon, Coriander Powder - 1 tea spoon, Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tea spoon, Red Chili Powder - 1/2 tea spoon, Curry leaves - 1 tea spoon, Mustard seeds - 1/2 tea spoon

Recipe: 

To start with you have to wash the Poha and wash it well with cold water. Once it is washed, keep it aside to dry for atleast 15 minutes. After 15 minutes you will see that the poha is not sticky and dry and nice.

Put the pan in the gas and let it heat for 3-4 minutes. Add ghee in it and heat it for another two minutes. Now put mustard seeds and fry it for few seconds and then put the curry leaves. Once it is done, put peanuts and keep stirring until fry. Now put chopped onion and keep stirring it. Ensure you do not have to fry the onion too much. Do not even need the brown texture. After stirring the onion for 3-4 minutes you are good to apply all the spices in it. Mix everything well and keep cooking for 2-3 minutes. 

Now is the time to put poha in the pan and you have to mix it well. Cover the pan and let it cook for 3-4 minutes so that the spices will be mixed and cooked well with other ingredients.

There you go. Turn off the flame and your healthy nutritious and low calorie diet is ready to be served. Garnish it with fresh green coriander leaves.

Peanuts are the great source of protein and healthy fats. You should definitely include peanuts in your daily diet. Take it in the moderation. 30 grams a day is good enough.
