Today I am going to share with you a very easy and healthy Upma recipe. It is low in calorie, full of fiber, vitamins and healthy fats. Very easy to cook and enjoy this low-calorie meal. You can include this in your breakfast or brunch.
So, let’s start and cook healthy.
Ingredients:
Sooji (Semolina) – 1 cup French Beans (Chopped) – 1 cup
Green Peas – ½ cup Onion (Chopped) – ½ cup
Ghee – 1 table spoon Green Chillies (Chopped) – 2 tb spoon
Salt ½ tea spoon, Turmeric – A pinch, Sabji Masala – ½ tea spoon
Cashew & Raisins & Peanuts – 25-30 grams Chana dal – 2-3 table spoon
Recipe:
First, thoroughly wash the vegetables, then finely chop them all and set them aside to dry for half an hour. Wash chana dal too.
Turn on the stove and place the pan on top of it. Now is the time to add the ghee and heat it up. Roast the Sooji until it has a brown texture. Take it out of the pan and keep aside.
Add ghee again and heat the pan for 2 minutes and put mustard seeds, chana dal and curry leaves. Allow one to two minutes for the black mustard seeds and curry leaves to toast. Put the chana dal in it now and roast it for 2 minutes. Now is the time to put onion and let it be brown and now toss in all of the vegetables and spices and roast them for 3-4 minutes.
Now is the time to put Sooji in the pan with the spices and roast them together. After 3-4 minutes of roasting, pour a glass of boiled water in it and keep stirring. Keep the flame low. When the mixture is thick. turn off the gas.
Your low calorie super healthy upma is ready to be served with any sauce of your choosing.
