Today I am going to share with you a very easy yet healthy Besan Oats Chilla recipe. It is full of protein and fiber which keeps you full for long hours and lower your cholesterol levels. Include this healthy dish in your breakfast for the great start of the day.
So, let’s start and cook healthy.
Ingredients:
1. Besan (Gram flour) – 1 cup
2. Grinded Oats – 1 cup
3. Ghee – ½ table spoon
4. Green Chillies (Chopped) – 2 table spoons
5. Spices – Salt ½ tea spoon, Black Pepper Powder – ½ tea spoon
6. Onion (Chopped) – ½ cup
7. Green Coriander Leaves (Chopped) – 3-4 spoons
Recipe:
In the mixer jar, grind the oats into a powder. Take the besan and combine it with the water in a mixing bowl. Mix for 4-5 minutes, making sure the batter isn't too thick or it won't fit into the pan properly. Now add the oats powder and stir well.
Now add the green chilies, onion, and coriander leaves and stir well. Add the spices and stir well to ensure that everything is properly combined.
Now it's time to pour the batter into the pan. Turn on the gas and wait 3-4 minutes for it to heat up on a medium flame. Using an oil brush, evenly apply the ghee to the pan. Now, with the help of a spoon, pour the batter into the round pan and cook for 2-3 minutes. Now try flipping the chilla to the other side to finish cooking. If it's stuck, don't try to remove it. Allow time for it to cook. Check to see if it comes out easily. Cook for 3-4 minutes on the other side as well.
Bang on. Remove the pan from the heat and your besan oats chilla is ready to eat.
